Exam Coverage
Exam coverage for the NAUI Nitrox Diver Exam includes the essential
knowledge and practical competencies required for safe diving with
enriched air nitrox (EANx). It focuses on the properties of oxygen and
nitrogen, gas laws, partial pressure concepts, and the physiological
effects of breathing higher oxygen concentrations underwater. The
exam evaluates understanding of oxygen exposure limits, oxygen
toxicity (CNS and pulmonary), nitrogen absorption, and how nitrox
affects no-decompression limits and dive planning.
