This case study questions the schools appropriate levels of safety measures to protect its occupants. During instructional hours, a father was able to enter a middle school, go directly to his childs classroom, disregard the teacher, argue and strike the student in front of his peers. The father not only took the student out of the classroom but was able to take the student out of the school building without interference. The legal issues effecting this case would be negligent supervision, premises liability or failure to keep students safe while on school property and contributing to a students harm.
