Gravitation: The Universal Force Of Attraction
Gravitation is the fundamental force of attraction between all objects that have mass. It governs how planets, stars, and satellites move and interact in the universe. According to Newton’s law, every object pulls every other object with a force that depends on their masses and the distance between them. On Earth, gravitation gives weight to objects and causes them to fall toward the ground with an acceleration called g. It also keeps planets in orbit around the Sun and the Moon in orbit around the Earth. Gravitation plays a key role in shaping the structure of the universe, from the motion of galaxies to the formation of stars and planets.
