1. WHAT IS A CONSTITUTION?
• Declaration of Independence. A statement that proclaimed that the 13 colonies were
independent states and no longer under the British rule. It declared that the USA is a free
state and an independent nation.
2. HOW IS THE CONSTITUTION TERMED?
• The Constitution is termed as the Supreme law of the country. It laid out guidelines and
rules on how the country should run. Thomas Jefferson wrote The Declaration of
Independence and edited by the Continental Congress.
3. WHO IS BENJAMIN FRANKLIN?
• He is one of the founding fathers, who drafted the Declaration of Independence and the
Constitution of the USA.
4. WHAT IS THE BILL OF RIGHTS?
• It is the first 10 Amendments to the Constitution. It spells out American’s rights in relation
to their government. It guarantees civil rights and liberties to the individual. It stands as a
symbol and foundation of American ideals of individual liberty, LIMITED GOVERNMENT,
and the rule of law.

• Is a lawyer. An attorney is someone who has achieved the proper level of education to
advise on legal matters or represent others in a court of law. There are a wide variety of

2. WHAT IS A DISTRICT ATTORNEY?
• A lawyer who is elected or chosen by local government officials to represent the state
government in criminal cases brought in a designated county or judicial district.
3. WHAT IS A LITIGATOR?
• A litigator (often referred to as a trial lawyer) is type of lawyer that handles the process in
civil cases, such as: taking legal action against another person, group or business to
solve a dispute. Litigators can represent either defendants or plaintiffs and often spend
time arguing cases in the courtroom.
4. WHAT IS A PLAINTIFF?
• The plaintiff is the person or group, who is accusing another person or group of some
wrongdoing, in a courtroom. If you’re the plaintiff, you are claiming that a law was
broken, and you’re in court to present your case.
