, Perform type command functions for assigned forces.
Assist the MRB in the production of MSOCS for deployment in order to
provide regionally aligned enabled MARSOF and preserve the force.
Plan, coordinate, and conduct unilateral, joint, and combined special
operations and exercises, as directed. Provide forces and capabilities to
support exercises and operations, as required.
Provide automated information system and cryptographic material security
support to the staff and subordinate commands. Support subordinate units
with message dissemination, financial management, medical, legal,
chaplain, research, development, testing and evaluation, safety and

As the component-lead for MARSOC: develop, test, and validate
collective-level Marine SOF tactics, techniques, and procedures in
coordination with the MARSOC Assistant Chief of Staff (AC/S) G-3, MSOS,
and MRSG.
Support Combatant Commanders, Marine Corps, and USSOCOM planning,
as directed.
Maintain accountability of organic assets through coordinated
management and exercise administrative control of deployed MARSOF.
