argued that a mission statement explicates company’s business, its goals and
approaches by delineating company’s bright future and accentuate what makes the
company stand out.
A mission statement is a remarkable navigation tool lead company to its target future
destination. In my opinion, a mission statement works similar to Waze app and draw
the guidelines, highlight the pothole, traffics, freeways, police ahead and etc. for a
safe journey to accomplish the expected objectives.
There is a significant correlation between mission statement and market share. In
this essence, mission statement can enhance the level of performance by arising the
motivation among employees and balancing the confliction between different groups
of stakeholders.
According to Braun et al. (2012), the aim of developing and implementing a mission
statement are to establish consistency ,company culture and reduction of turnovers,
etc. Also, Braun and his colleagues propound that a target customer is a major
requirement for effective mission statement.
A mission statement is a powerful action-oriented message.
