Subject SP4 2021 Study Guide

1.1 Subject SP4 – background and contents History The Specialist Principles subjects were introduced in the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries 2019 Curriculum. Subject SP4 is Pensions and Other Benefits. Predecessors The Specialist Principles subjects cover content that was previously in the equivalent Specialist Technical subjects. So:  Subject SP4 replaces Subject ST4. Exemptions In order to be eligible for a pass in Subject SP4, you will need:  to have passed or been granted an exemption from Subject ST4 during the transfer process  to have met the profession’s requirements based on the current curriculum. The parts cover related topics and are broken down into chapters. The following table shows how the parts and chapters relate to each other.
