Introduction:
The body is continually bombarded by stimuli from the changing
environment. To respond successfully, the body must be able to interpret
these stimuli. Sensory receptors enable us to make sense of these signals
by converting them into nerve impulses which are then interpreted by the
brain. Let’s see if we can learn enough about pain stimuli and how to
block them in time to help our injured climber get back to safety!

you get hit by a rock”
Have the lab report available to record data as you work through the lab. The
theory section of the lab is a useful resource.
