Initiation of the Referral Process - Answers When a parent ORALLY or WRITES in a request, the LEA
must provide a copy of the permission to evaluate request form within 10 days.
After LEA receives written parent consent, the initial evaluation must be completed within 60 days.
Parent must receive a copy of the evaluation with in at least 10 days.
Time frame for IEP - Answers 1. The LEA must provide advance notice to the parent when scheduling
