Give this one a try later!
ATP is produced in the light reaction of photosynthesis.
What are the four organic molecules and what are their monomers?
Give this one a try later!
Carbohydrates, lipids , proteins, nucleic acids. Their respective monomers
are monosaccharides, fatty acids and glycerol, amino acids, and
nucleotides.
, What are atomic bonds?
Give this one a try later!
Electrostatic forces between oppositely charged atoms
Describe the purpose and steps of mitosis.
Give this one a try later!
The purpose of mitosis is to replicate the parent cell with no change in
chromosome number. In prophase, the nucleolus and nuclear envelope
disappear as chromatin condenses into visible chromosomes. In
metaphase, the chromosomes align at the metaphase plate as kinetochore
fibers attach to the sister chromatids. In anaphase, the sister chromatids are
pulled apart and become daughter chromosomes. In telophase, the cell
splits into two daughter cells.
What processes are associated with cell metabolism?(photosynthesis/cellular
respiration) What do they do?
Give this one a try later!
Photosynthesis, cellular respiration, and fermentation. Photosynthesis turns
light, carbon, and water into ATP first, then into glucose. Cellular respiration
turns oxygen and glucose into ATP. Fermentation turns
What are electrons?
