EED2601
ASSIGNMENT 1 (SEMESTER 1)
DUE 28 APRIL 2026
ACTIVITY 1
1.1 Explanation of Multiple Intelligences and Classroom Application
ANSWERS:
a. Interpersonal Intelligence
Interpersonal intelligence refers to the ability to understand, communicate, and interact
effectively with other people. Learners with this intelligence are skilled in teamwork,
cooperation, and understanding the feelings of others (Armstrong, 2018).
In the classroom, I will cater to learners with interpersonal intelligence by using group
discussions and cooperative learning activities. For example, I will divide learners into
small groups where they work together to solve a problem or discuss a topic. This
allows them to share ideas and learn through interaction with others.
b. Visual-Spatial Intelligence
Visual-spatial intelligence is the ability to think in images and to understand visual
information such as diagrams, pictures, and maps. Learners with this intelligence prefer
visual learning methods (Gardner, 2011).
To support these learners, I will use visual aids such as charts, diagrams, videos, and
mind maps. For example, when teaching a new concept, I will draw diagrams or use
pictures to help learners understand the content more easily.
