Client is a 16-year-old male who arrived in the emergency department with reports of acute severe pain
in left lower extremity. The client also states that he cannot feel his toes on his left foot. Client was
involved in a motorcycle accident two days prior and sustained multiple fractures in the left leg. He was
treated in the Ed with a bone reduction and immobilizer with a temporary cast placed on his left lower
leg. Client was instructed to follow up with the orthopedic surgeon next week, but because of the
increased pain and numbness, he came into the Ed for treatment. no significant medical history noted
