Blue cloud Primary School is situated in a poor socio economic area, where
most of its learners come from townships and informal settlements. The
community is hardly stricken by poverty, unemployment, gang related
activities, drug and alcohol abuse, HIV/aids and illiteracy of parents. From the
schools stance, the teachers lack adequate teachers training in learning support
and support services from the district support office. These are the extrinsic
barriers that the learners of Blue Cloud Primary school are facing.
