Personal Leadership Evaluation
A. Signature Themes Report
Based on the Clifton Strengths Finder Assessment my top five categorical strengths are
learner, responsibility, achiever, discipline and analytical (Appendix A).
A1. Reflection on Cliftonstrengths
Learner
I am not surprised that learner is one of my top five talents. Growing up in a different
country and migrating to the United States, I was challenged to learn everything from the
ground. A new language, new customs, new environments, and also a new perspective in life. In
my current position as a Program Coordinator, I am constantly being challenged to learn in order
to maximize my abilities and productivity at work. Being a learner, I am also always striving to
continuously learn and improve myself not only to gain my own knowledge; I also learn to make
sure that others can learn from me. Thinking about the learner strength as a personal leadership
trait, I think I would learn very quickly to be the best I can to serve my group and company well.
I remember when COVID was at its peak and we had to move to work remotely, we had
to pivot the way we worked. Due to the fact that everything had to be switched electronically and
virtually, I suggested the switch of all communications in our office to Whatsapp and the signing
of all disbursement processes to Adobe Sign. At that point, I did not know those two applications
in depth but the learner in me pushed me to do my own research and implement the switch. I also
helped with troubleshooting if any of my team members were having issues with the
applications.
