What are workgroup members?
A core group of users from each job role and specialty
who help champion operational change management,
system adoption, and end‐user readiness. They
participate in operational workgroups and represent their
role in decision‐making.
What are training SMEs?
Users who will assist you in preparing classroom training
materials and act as a representative for their role during
the implementation. They often participate in operational
workgroups, represent their role in decision making, and
review training materials you create. Physician training
SMEs are called Specialty Champions. Training SMEs for
other roles have other titles,
What is the curriculum matrix?
,The application curriculum matrix is your primary tool for
planning your application's curriculum. Here you can find a
list of all the training tracks included in Training Wheels for
your application, both instructor‐led and independent
learning. Each role's training track has its own tab,
detailing which classes to teach and in what order. The
curriculum matrix also provides the length of the classes,
both those with and without e‐learnings, as well as the
names of the patients used in each lesson.
What do the Track Times tabs list?
The Track Times tabs list each of the Epic‐created training
tracks and their required and recommended training times.
There are a couple of key features of the Track Times tabs
to keep in mind:
The Track Times tabs auto‐update via settings and
formulas in the individual track tabs.
Applications with specialist tracks also have a column for
user settings labs
