The assessment utilises a pre-populated Excel spreadsheet that contains summarised financial

1. Operationalise the excel worksheets for the basic "+, -, x, /" and @SUM functions, etc.
Advanced functions like macros are not necessary.
2. Incorporate the figures and calculate the ratios for the year ended 30 September 2020 (only
2020 figures). Insert your reference to the relevant sections/pages of the AR2020 in the
remarks column. State the ratio formula in the remarks column.
This assessment is designed to ensure that students fully understand the inter-relationships
that exist between the figures in financial statements based on the principles of financial
management, specifically credit management. Secondly, this assignment is designed to ensure
that students are able to interpret the relevant ratios derived from financial statements for the
purposes of credit assessment and credit-granting evaluation. Lastly, the credit evaluation
report preparation test the student's writing and critical thinking skills in credit evaluation.
