Improvement Plan Tool-Kit
The aim of this improvement plan toolkit is to enable nursing practitioners to implement
recommended changes, measure their impact, and ensure their sustainability in the emergency
department unit. It has three categories with three sources. Each category provides sources that
can aid in implementing the recommended changes. The categories include implementing
standardized hand-off communication, improving adherence to protocols, and measuring impact
of quality improvement projects.
