Introduction
Science is a significant field on the orientation of the surroundings, and more
specifically, it explains nature. Scientific fields such as astronomy have been the major
contributing factor in studying and collecting data. The data collection and the studies are
mainly funded by the government to enable the progress of innovation. There have been
several missions that have been conducted, such as the Interior Exploration Using Seismic
Investigations, Geodesy, and Heat Transport (InSight). According to Trebi-Ollennu (1), the
mission was a NASA Discovery Program that is supposed to take place at a single
geophysical lander. The primary purpose of the task is to study the interior of the deep planet.
Based on the report released by NASA, the mission has several objectives, such as a
terrestrial planet explorer that will address the significance of planetary and solar system
science (Trebi-Ollennu 1). This paper objects explicitly at highlighting the type of technology
used in the study, the Electromagnetic radiation detected, the objects being observed, and the
specific images and findings of the InSight project.
Body
Technology has been a critical aspect of aiding aviation and most scientific studies.
Most studies that are conducted are mainly commenced from a blind angle, and thus the use

of relevant technology is very essentials. The technologies that are used are mainly done due
to a lack of knowledge on the project and the sight that the study should be conducted. The
use of human beings has not been encouraged due to the dangers that may occur or even the
fact that some planets may not support life. However, the mars landers project has created
considerable concern among the scientific elicits, and also most individuals may want to
understand what the red planet consists of. The NASA team mainly used sophisticated
geographical instruments that will make the mission possible by investigating deep beneath
the surface of the red planet. The technology is aimed at detecting the fingerprints of the
process of the formation of the planet, measuring vital signs, seismology, heat flow, and
reflex. The technology used in the study is known as the phoenix spacecraft.
The Phoenix is generally described as a robotic spacecraft with the ability to explore
mars under the Mars Scout program (Ghosh & Sudeshna, et al 327). The spacecraft hade
several advantages such as the ability to explore the terrestrial planate and also a successful
history. The phoenix had landed on planet mars on May 25, 2008 (Trebi-Ollennu 1). The
technology was used to study the presence of water on the planet. The technology is said to
have used an estimated cost of about US $ 386 million. The cost generally includes
manufacturing and launching costs. The technology was applied to the insight mission due to
the fact that it would be effective, and it would be cost-effective in terms of finances. The
technology was enabled and controlled by NASA jet Propulsion laboratory and headed by the
Lunar and Planetary Laboratory at the University of Arizona. The technology had a
remarkable record where it had six successful landings out of the seven attempts.
The study aimed to explore the orientation nada nature of the planate. The
wavelength was noted to be about 532 nm and 1064 nm (Trebi-Ollennu 1). Information was
obtained from different backscattered light at different wavelengths. The wavelength
dependence has a significant role in the discovery as it would allow individuals to
