Primary Objective: Given a list of 10 word math problems, addition and subtraction, students
will be able to correctly line up the addends, minuends, and subtrahends according to place
value correctly and then find the correct answers. This will be accomplished by the end of the
day.
Classroom Diversity and Accommodated Instruction:
This 2nd grade classroom is located in Norfolk, VA.
This class has 25 students, comprised of 13 boys and 12 girls.
The class has a wide range of learning styles represented in the classroom. Therefore,
the teacher will vary activities to incorporate visual, auditory, and kinesthetic activities.
All the students of this class are primary English speakers. There are no language
learners.
