Java Corp. is small but quickly growing. There are 300 employees in the company and
the organization has a history of a stable workforce with very limited turnover. It is the goal of
the human resources company to hire for managerial and supervisory positions to support the
organizational structure of Java Corp.
A recruiter’s job includes reviewing a candidate’s job experiences, negotiating salaries,
and placing candidates in agreeable employment positions. It is important for the recruiter to
have a clear idea and understanding of the needs of the company’s personnel needs. Knowledge
of the company’s organizational structure is necessary to ensure that employees are hired not
only to fulfill the position but also to merge well with the company. (Noe, 2019) The difference
in an effective and less effective recruiter is the skill to differentiate good and bad applicants on
paper based on the job criteria given.
Recruiter responsibilities include sourcing candidates online, updating job ads and
conducting background checks. The recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a
regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. The recruiter will attract candidates
using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. The recruiter holds
will have work experience in screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates. (Sackett, 2018)
Since Java Corp is a small growing firm, there is uniqueness in its development. Java’s
