Introduction
Biblical worldview is the Christian view of life through the lens of God’s word. To act and
live the way God wants us to be and act. This is what we believe is correct and how we are called
to live our lives according to the Bible. The Bible is the reference and guide that Christians use to
gain knowledge of God’s word and direction. Whether a teacher is teaching in a public or private
school, teaching from a biblical worldview can be done in many ways. The biblical worldview of
teaching is much more than saying a prayer and adding a few Bible verses to the lesson.
Biblical Worldview
The basis for reality based on the existence of God can be proved by looking around the
world that we live in at what has been created and the prophecies that have been fulfilled. The
fulfilled prophecies in the Bible give us proof he exist because without him those prophecies
would not have been fulfilled. “Human knowledge about God and his will is perspectival
because of our finitude and sinfulness. For the same reasons, it must also be based on faith”
[ CITATION Jef00 \l 1033 ]. God wants us to be like him. He wants us to be loving, caring
and just. “So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God, he created him; make
and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27, New International Version).
The basis for truth is the Bible. We use the Bible to guide our actions, attitudes, our way of
