Biblical Worldview
When you hear the word worldview, what comes to mind? Worldview is the framework in
which someone views the world and his or her beliefs in life. People with Biblical
worldviews, will frame this around the Bible and God, they believe their purpose in life is to
serve God and to serve people as Jesus did. The worldview you have may be different from
others; this is why the world can be harsh when trying to keep a Biblical view on life and the
world around us. When
we have a Biblical worldview, we look at things differently and we think of our actions in
a moral way that aligns with the Bible. Unfortunately in today’s society teaching with a
Biblical worldview will be challenging in a normal classroom setting.
We must implicate our views in the classroom; we can do this by in cooperating rules
such as treat others with respect and kindness, and these are ways to bring the Biblical
Worldview into the classroom.
Biblical Worldview
The Bible says “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom
and instruction.” Proverbs 22:6 (ESV) this is telling us that if you have intelligence you will
seek out the Lord, knowledge starts and ends with God. There are so many Bible verses
about education another one that speaks out to me is “Commit your work to the Lord, and
your plans will be established.” Proverbs 16:3 (ESV) If we as teachers, make our daily plans
and assignments to the Lord each day and pray over our classroom, he will always be in our
