Background
Cyber Software, Inc. is owned and operated by Joseph Jackson. The company has gross
sales of 20 million dollars and after tax profit of 10 million dollars per year. Clients of
Cyber Software include local businesses as well as state and municipal governments.
Upon discovering that a client suffered a breach via their website in which credit card
payment information was compromised, a solution had to be put in place. Clients have to
know that Cyber Software works and that in the event of a security breach, immediate
and appropriate measures are taken to rectify the issue.
Effective immediate, Cyber Software Inc. will implement three priorities, those
priorities are revision to the current vision and mission statement, secondly priority will
be establishing two new divisions; program development and victim clean up/damage
control, and the third priority will be restructuring the organization to ensure maximum
productivity at every level. Adding the two divisions will help Cyber Software
tremendously as long as managers and employee understand that the best infrastructure
are those that supports knowledge-sharing, communication, and work on joint projects.

will ensue. Structure will be established at all levels so that Cyber Software Inc. remains
a global leader in security solutions.

lead and stand out amongst their peers.
This management style had worked well until recent, as the company began expanding in
response to a breach in a clients website. Recently there has been time and money lost as
result of staff not working as efficiently as they can. Mr. Jackson is now reconfiguring
the entire layout of the company to continue thriving as the business grows.

mission statement as it outlines the work that has to be done while being supported by the
inspiration in doing it by way of a vision statement. The current mission statement of
Cyber Software, Inc. is: “Help customers secure information through innovative
services”. Having the understanding of the roles of both mission and vision statements
will greatly increase awareness and employee “buy in” to helping the company achieve
the desired outcomes. The proposed new mission statement for Cyber Software is “To
