BBIOCHEM ACS EXAM COVERAGE
The Biochem ACS (American Chemical Society) exam evaluates core
college-level biochemistry knowledge and the ability to apply
biochemical principles to problem-solving. The exam coverage
includes cell structure and basic molecular biology concepts such as
DNA-containing organelles, prokaryotes vs. eukaryotes, and cellular
components. It also assesses bioenergetics topics including
thermodynamics, Gibbs free energy (ΔG and ΔG°), equilibrium, and
reaction spontaneity under cellular conditions. Additional areas
