Directions: These questions consist of two statements, each printed as Assertion and Reason. While
answering these questions, you are required to choose any one of the following responses.
(a) If both Assertion and Reason are correct and the Reason is a correct explanation of the Assertion.
(b) If both Assertion and Reason are correct but Reason is not a correct explanation of the Assertion.
(c) If the Assertion is correct but Reason is incorrect.
(d) If Assertion incorrect and Reason are correct.
(e) If both the Assertion and Reason are incorrect.
13. Assertion- Increase the current sensitivity of a galvanometer necessarily increase the voltage sensitivity. 1
Reason- Voltage sensitivity is inversely proportional to current sensitivity.
14. Assertion- The power in ac circuit is minimum if the circuit has only a resistor 1
Reason- Power of a circuit is independent of the phase angle.
15. Assertion- It is more difficult to push a magnet into a coil with more loops. 1
Reason- Emf induced in the current loop resists the motion of the magnet.
16. Assertion- Drift velocity of electrons is independent of time. 1
Reason- Electrons are accelerated in the presence of electric field.
