Soundis the vibration of the air. It occurs at a sound
source,because something is vibrating.
The distance of (e.g.) the head of a drum
until the resting position, you call the diversion.

The greater the maximum deflection, the
the greater the sound intensity (how loud the sound
is). The faster the (skin) vibrates, the higher the tone
(how high or low the sound sounds).
The sound therefore comes from a sound source. The vibration
travels through a medium (the aire.g.).Then it reaches a receiver
(your ear). You then hear the sound. There is a small diagram that
goes with this:

In a vacuum cannot be sound, because there
is not a medium. The air is sucked out.

A sound box(e.g. a guitar) is a hollow front

How does amicrophone?
When someone sings, the sound (the vibration) goes to the
microphone. It converts it into an electrical signal and
that goes to the amplifier. He amplifies the sound, that
then to the speakers go.They put it
back into sound. And the amplified sound are heard
people who listen to it.
