Phases of nurse-patient relationship - ANS ✔✔Preinteraction, Orientation, Working,

Preinteraction phase - ANS ✔✔happens before meeting patient. Review all available data , talk
to other nurses who have info on patient, anticipate health concerns or issues that arise,
identify location and setting for private interaction, plan enough time.
Orientation phase - ANS ✔✔nurse and patient get to know each other. Closely observe, assess
health status, prioritize, let pt know when to expect relationship to be terminated.
Working phase - ANS ✔✔when the nurse and patient work together to solve
problems/accomplish goals.
