Definition of Sentence.
A group of words that makes complete sense, is called a Sentence.

Explanation.
When we speak or write we use words. We generally use these words in groups;
such as,
The sun sets in the west.


 This sentence makes a complete sense. In this way ,
groups of words combine and make a sentence.
 A sentence always gives a complete meaning.
 We use sentences in our daily communication.
 Through sentences, we express our feelings or emotions.
 Without sentences, we cannot express our thoughts.
 Sentences have different types.
 Some sentences make statements or assertion.
 Some sentences ask questions.
 Some sentences express commands, requests or entreaties.
