Reflection
1. Feedback I used pertaining to my argument came directly from my professor and a
coworker from work, who is also in college. My professor told me that although the
argument was strong in the body paragraphs, my introductory thesis statement needs
some work. My coworker told me that my conclusion made sense, but it also lacked
the part of targeting a specific audience. I used this feedback to not only make the
argument clearer and more precise, but also to clarify who the argument was intended
for.
2. I used feedback to make several changes when it came to the exploration of my issue.
In module three, I ended up switching my argument completely around based off
feedback and research. I also changed the way I set up my introduction and the thesis
statement, by going back to module 5. I ended up rewriting and structuring my whole
conclusion paragraph to meet the project rubric based off feedback.
3. Decisions I have made based off feedback I have received pertaining to source
integration include improving my in-text citations finding more credible sources from
distinguished authors and gathering more relevant information about using the MLA
format correctly.
4. Some writing strategies that I used for this essay includes a strong thesis statement,
being respectful when it came to my response to the other side paragraph and having
very strong supporting points in my body paragraphs. I wanted to be very clear and
wanted to catch my audiences’ attention. While doing those things, I wanted to be
sure that my information was valid to the point there was no argument to the facts
presented.
