Answer: Hawaii Notary is required to take and subscribe an oath for
the faithful execution of his/her duties.
◉ Seal.
Answer: Must be round, not more than 2.5 inches diameter. Must
have an uneven border and have the notary name, commission
number, state of Hawaii and the words Notary Public.
◉ Official Signature.
, Answer: Signed Name, Printed Name, Expiration date of
Commission.
◉ Commission.
Answer: Must file copy of commission, impression of seal and official
signature with county clerk of your jurisdiction.
◉ Authentication.
Answer: County clerk verifying notary commission on file.
◉ Bond.
Answer: 1,000 surety bond required. Filed and approved by circuit
court judge.
◉ Record Book.
Answer: Type, time date of act. Title or type, date of doc. or
proceeding. Signature, printed name and address of each signer and
witness. Other parties to instrument and manner in which signer
was identified.
◉ Government Notary.
Answer: Serves in matters pertaining to gov. No fees or bond.
