standards that dicate the knoledge skills and abiliies that arson
investigators must master
Impression evidence
Give this one a try later!
fingerprints, palm prints, nose or ear prints, toolmarks, and foot wear/tire

HMIS
Give this one a try later!
Hazardous Materials Identification System-chemicals must be properly

Give this one a try later!
, the path a bullet takes when a weapon is discharged

Give this one a try later!
Hydrogen Sulfide. Hydrogen sulfide is more toxic than hydrogen cyanide
Medium velocity impact spatter
Give this one a try later!
creats smaller spatter and is produced when velocity of the force is
between 5-25 feet per second. Blunt trama may result in MVIS or stabbing
that can range from 1mm to 3mm in diamter
Skeletonized stains
Give this one a try later!
occur when the perimeter of the stain has dried and the center has flaked
away, leaving the visible outer ring
Color standards for HMIS
Give this one a try later!
, blue=health hazard
red=flammability
yellow=reactivity
white section=special info ie what PPE to wear
CBRNE crime scnes
Give this one a try later!
scenes involving weapons of mass destruction-chemical, biological,
radiological, nuclear, and explosive
destructive ink or paper testing should be conducted when?
