T- Okay Class. Let’s talk about your plans in more detail.
Ivan, You told us before that you plan to go camping with your father. Do you think the weather will be
good this weekend?
I - Yes! My father watched for a weather forecast. It said it will be sunny!
T- Oh. That’s good! Well. What if it rains? Will your plans change?
I - I think, yes!
T - Can you tell us what will you do if it rains this weekend?( Writes on board “If it rains this
weekend...”)
I - We will stay home!
T - Okay then! Let's write this sentence! ( writes the ending on the board). Now let’s repeat it: “If it
rains, we will stay home”
Class: If it rains, we will stay home!
T: Good! Now, Sonya! Can you tell us about your plans in the same way as this sentence?
S - Hm... If it will sunny, we will go to the restaurant!
T- Okay! Just let me write it on board( writes it below the first sentence). Can anybody tell me what is
not well with this sentence? The "IF" part? (underlines “if “ clauses of both sentences)
S - Different tense!
T- Yeah! Good! Which tense it should be?
S3- Present simple!
T- Exactly! ( thumbs up) Sonya, can you tell it again, but using present simple in the first part?
S- If it is sunny, we will go to the restaurant!
