It has nothing to do with the money. Let's just get that out the way (...light humor goes a
long way....). I'm a hard worker and believe people should be paid commensurate to the
work they produce. I'm not just working only for myself, my work supports me in giving my
family the best life they deserve. Being a CSR has allowed me to engage and support our
internal and external customers through effective service, and I am confident that my role as
a USS will allow me to have greater scope and impact within the department and in the City
of Los Angeles.
Most significant written report or written work you have completed in your current or
former position. What was it on, how was content prepared, factors considered in format,
audience, and the outcome? - ANSWER Aside from written works completed in the
pursuit of my Management degree, I can't think of any written reports I had to complete in
my recent employment. As a CSR in Program Support, I have to compile daily statistics for
the E-Team and Solar units. We use tables in the body of the email to present the data. This
keeps the file small and concise, since it goes out daily. These report are sent to various
levels of management, so accuracy and timeliness are essential. They expect these reports at
the beginning of their day and they use the data from these reports to make decisions and
compile their own reports. Understanding their importance, I take time to ensure the
information is complete, up to date and free of errors, because It's just not representing me,
the report represents our teams.
Please describe your experience with Office applications including specific examples -
ANSWER I use Office applications at work and in my daily life. Working in program
support, I use Office Notes to create, organize, and edit email response templates. I use
Excel to compile my daily reports, my production reports, to interpret data, to organize and
keep track of my outbound calls to customers, and as you know Outlook is the department's
primary email client, so I have extensive use with it in my duties. Access i think i have the
least experience with. I have a general knowledge of its use as a database and form/report
creation tool, but have yet to work it into any real work experience. I am able to organize my
life effectively and seamlessly using the Office Suites
