Abstract
This paper reviews the foundational laboratory concepts and biological principles assessed
in the ETHC 210 Quiz 1, covering microscopy and laboratory techniques, cell structure
and organelle function, the cell cycle including mitosis and meiosis, DNA structure and
nucleotide composition, and the integration of Christian worldview perspectives with
scientific inquiry. The discussion addresses the distinction between magnification and
resolution, the differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell architecture, the phases
of cell division, Chargaff's base-pairing rules, and the theological concepts of General
Revelation and the imago Dei as they inform bioethical reasoning in the life sciences.
