In the realm of mental health, there are a couple of adversities that may arise. These
adversities are mostly interpreted in terms of mental disorders. More precisely, psychotic
disorders. These mental disarrays cause personality issues as it detaches one from reality, and
instead of leading the individual into a state of confusion. They include Schizophrenia,
substance-induced psychotic disorder, paraphrenia, schizoaffective disorder and delusional order.
The latter induces effects of creating false beliefs of the individual's mind, which tampers with
the original orientation of reality. Therefore, this paper is an elaborative text that describes
challenges associated with the disorder, along with effects and viable psychological methods to
alleviate the condition.
The delusional disorder can be treated to satiate the full recovery of the patient. However,
the medical regimens involved are initiated with regards to the exact affected mind areas, thereby
being difficult to treat at times. Currently, the biological methods for treating delusional disorder
include antipsychotic drugs, mood stabilizers and antidepressants. All three provide a variegated
