Coping Strengths
I scored highest in Strategic Planning with a 15 out of 16 and Reflective Coping with a 41 out
of
44. Due to my penchant for strategic planning, I am very organized. Making lists and
reminders of what I need to do are vital. Because of my reflective coping skills, I like to
plot a course to achieve my goal and think of all the possible obstacles and how best to
overcome them. This action plan will help me stay accountable and on track when putting
the assigned amount of money away each week. I could improve upon my instrumental
support seeking by understanding that others may have valuable input to help me achieve
my goal. Someone else may have better budgeting tips and could help me create a more
effective plan.

I scored a 48 out of 50 on the grit assessment, which means I see myself as grittier than 95%
of Americans. I believe this is an accurate assessment as I've experienced many trials in my
