• To use dictionary to locate words, understand meaning and different
ways of applying them
Aims
• To develop students’ skills of prediction when they come across new
vocabulary
• To promote creativity
• Hand out dictionaries and worksheet to each student.
• Give students instructions for activity.
• Each student must work individually for this activity.
Teacher’s Instructions
• Monitor and help students where necessary.
• Give feedback.
• Drill definitions with students.
