The story is about the 16 year old Hazel Grace Lancaster. She has cancer and doesn't know how much
time she has left. Her mom thinks that Hazel is depressed, because she rarely left the house, spent
quite a lot of time in bed and she reads all the time the same book An imperil Affliction from Peter
van Houten. Peter van Houten is a writer and live in Amsterdam. The book had an open ending.
Hazel wanted to know the end of book before she died, because she wanted to know what happened
with the Dutch Tulpin man and if anna’s mom married someone.
Her mom and Doctor Jim thought it was a good idea that Hazel should attend a weekly support
group. She hates the group, but ones took a friend of her Isaac a new person to the support group.

heat of the moment kissed Hazel Augustus. Whee she opened her eyes she saw that everybody was
clapping and shouting .
But after there trip to Amsterdam Augustus told Hazel that he recently had a PET scan and that his
cancer has returned. After he told her, he became weaker and weaker and later he died.
August wanted to attend his funeral because he knew that he was dying soon. So he asked Hazel and
Isaac to write an eulogy and to read it to him. Augustus died 8 days after his prefuneral.
After the funeral, Peter van Houten walked up to Hazel. Hazel was stunned and didn’t want to talk to
Peter van Houten. It looks like that Peter van Houten would give the answers about the ending of the
