1. What is your training problem statement or objective?
The aim of training the CIA’s Global Financial Management auditability department’s
newly hired workforce to be able to apply accounting theories, concepts, resolve complex
bookkeeping complications, and principles are utilizing accounting software developed by the
company. The new computer-based auditing system will certify the accuracy of the financial data
input by its handlers. Moreover, it will provide a simplified system for current and new auditors
to access the company’s financial tracking system and generate fewer errors, and afford
accountability.
2. What skills and knowledge are required to perform the work?
The expected requirements consist of a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting or an
interrelated field such as corporate management, and finance with excellent interpersonal,
written, and effective verbal communications, and a concentration on customer service.
Candidate must also have knowledge in investigating and determining multifaceted accounting
complications, formulating or /revising financial reports and developing or directing core
controls assessments (Central Intelligence Agency, n.d.).
i) Rudimentary computer skills
Computer technology has evolved and many of today’s workforce lack competent
computer skills; therefore, the primary power that the training department must communicate,
and transfer must be basic computer navigation aids to the employees which will deliver
acceptable operational input efficiency. The new specialized accounting application program for
the workers allow practical use; hence they must have basic KSA’s in the usage of computers.
