A business has several departments which operate hand in hand to realize the
organization purpose and objectives. All departments must work hard In hand for the efficiency
and success of any organization. However, operations management is one of the most critical and
influential segments of every organization. This department is more of the epicenter of the
organization. Operations include converting materials, labor into more of finished products and
services. The operations apply the highest level of efficiency in an attempt to maximize the
income and reduce the costs. Therefore, there is a need to have more engagement to allow the
organizations not only to reduce costs, but also to maximize revenue and achieve the highest
operating as per the organization.
In order to understand the operations management of an organization, there was a need to
involve a person directed connected to the department. It is good to understand what the human
resource and the operations management share in common. This includes identifying the
resources utilization regarding the staff, and more so the materials and equipment. I would also
like to know much regarding technology. Actually, everything has changed in regard to social
networking in operations management. I had to involve an operations manager to give an insight
on acquiring as well as changing the form of goods and then submitting it to the clients
according to the abilities of the organization. The first stop is on the operations manager of our
organization. He is a friendly person by first sight. He seems ready to offer the required insight
by the look of his face. He has a wealth of experience ranging a couple of decades. His
experience ranges from the pre-digital age and has grown further to embrace the digital world
thus get not only the knowledge but also the skills to navigate the two changing world. Actually,
he is a person of integrity has to live his full life as a change agent in several organizations he
worked with.
