The impacts of the Internet in my everyday life
The Internet is a significant thing in our everyday lives. Nowadays, it is how I
communicate with family and use it for school. Utilizing the Internet is essential for me. When
using it for school, it is crucial for research, reading materials, and resources. The Internet helps
me with everyday tasks like keeping up with family, staying organized, and money management.
Without the Internet, it would be harder to keep track of money and when bills are due. Also, the
Internet helps me stay organized by making a calendar of appointments and statement dates. Not
having the Internet would make everyday life a lot different than we are used to now.
How does the Internet impact your daily life? Nowadays, it is such a big part of my life.
Sometimes it makes things harder to do in real life compared to over the Internet. For example,
instead of socializing face to face, we do it over the phone. I tell my siblings, "it's better to have
an adventure and memories in person rather than over the phone because you capture the
memories you have in person rather than being on the person." Instead of getting food or
essential items, I can shop online and have them delivered to my house. Which right now is a
better choice with what is happening with Covid-19. Meanwhile, being on the Internet more, my
health and exercise are drastically different because of not moving around a lot and being so
focused on it, and not eating and drinking water as I should sometimes. Although the Internet is
an important thing it is also essential to take care of yourself over it,
How is the Internet used professionally in my life? Internet is essential when it comes to
doing schooling or working on the computer. When working, I need the Internet to be to use
specific programs to be successful. Without it, I could not do my job successfully; also, going to
school essential to be able to do research and use the resources that the Internet makes available.
