Week 2 Individual Assignment: U.S. Health Care Systems for
Small Populations, Part 2
MHA 599
Commack has increased healthcare costs and fragmented care. Some recommendations
are to 1: Create an Office of Health Policy to set citywide health policy goals and oversee
implementation. 2: Accountability from the system for cost and quality. Improve clarity within
a spending target. 3: Extend the state's healthcare analytic capacities to push refined quality at
sustainable prices. 4: Regulate policies around alternative payment patterns, population health,
health information technology, cancer care insurance, and other preferences.
Triple Aim believes that new designs developed pursue three dimensions simultaneously,
and that's why it's called the Triple Aim. "Triple Aim" of improved health, magnified patient
experience, and decreased per-capita costs. Strengthening patient experience of care, including
quality and satisfaction, improves the health of the populations and helps reduce the per capita
cost of health care altogether (IHI.org). The current healthcare reformation has laid unimaginable
importance on improving patients' experience, transforming health care. Population, and the
reduction in the cost of healthcare per person nationally, need support to help fix this issue.
Studying primary caregivers' role concerning the threefold purpose and observing various
community health determinants will advance healthcare advancement. There will be an impact
on the national health care system.
, The three goals will improve quality and comfort for the patient's experience through
care. If you don't uncover the patient's needs, you won't improve the patient's care experience or
satisfaction. Create a questionnaire. The survey will ask several different questions that measure
preferences, evaluations of users, and healthcare opinions. With the information gathered, we
can resolve issues in our organization to improve the patient's experience. The primary goal is to
ensure every patient appreciates the care they receive.
The first area of focus is safety. The system is focused on the patient, so efficiency and
equity will improve as well. Within the current system that is market-oriented, the significant
incentive is cash or payment (Berwick et al., 2008). Often, this is because the critical Aim is to
increase the hospital's revenue and increase profit. As a result, there's a decrease in the quality of
care in hospitals that focus on profit. However, incorporating the triple aim goals
simultaneously, there's a more holistic healthcare method. The hospitals observe the reduction
of costs to increase profit and reduce healthcare costs at the individual level. Therefore, this
implies that health care prices at a national level will decline, and there will be more resources
to discuss additional
issues
Enhancing the health of populations can be achieved, and get to know the society we
care for. In some areas, there are many homeless people they take care of, and they are exposed
to so many different things, and they don't have easy access to healthcare most of the time. In
addition, our population is staying alive longer. We need to understand the older generation's
needs and what they may have been exposed to during their childhood, causing their health
problems now.
