Introduction
In the world of Marketing, individuals and organizations must set about with objectives
or brand proposals to assist with regulating the course they wish to take. After the goals have
been established, proposals to attain the targeted objectives can be abstracted and marketing
strategies expanded. Marketing Strategies are broad-ranging intentions or objectives used to
shape the steps an individual or organization takes to reach the goal. Distinct stipulated plans are
measure an organization takes to implement the marketing strategy.
Tactics
Product
Marketing starts with comprehension of products you desire consumers to purchase,
consume or utilize. The beginning step withing this task is interpretation of the products and/or
services being offered and then determining how to attract and connect with consumers. A clear
and precise comprehension of the products and services aids in the marketing plan and bridging
with consumers. An extensive examination will be performed of the current marketing plan to
gauge the modifications to first be oriented with upcoming strategies and goals of East Chestnut
Regional Health Systems (ECRHS).
East Chestnut Regional Health System is enormous and extended over a sizeable
geographical area. Most of their facilities are overdue on updates within buildings, equipment
and needs massive repairs. Some units are no longer profitable, the determination needs to be
, made regarding services and facilities being closed and allocating funds to improve upon those
that are to remain. ECRHS desires to offer products and brands that attract consumers and assist
them in the overall improvement of the ECRHS brand.
Services
East Chestnut Regional Health System (ECRH) has accumulated a set of goals that could
greatly benefit the area that they service and provide financial benefits. ECRH has elected to
target women through obstetrics/gynecology, a nurse navigation system and the improvement of
women-centric services. This also includes the opening of the oncology center since breast
cancer treatment would be provided. The goal to find more physicians is also beneficial to
women due to the great probability of recruiting more female doctors and specialists. Providing a
variety of services and diversity in choices for providers results in consumer needs being the
most efficient way for ECRH to satisfy existing patients, attract new consumers and increase
cash flow.
Brand
The merger of the hospitals that make up ECRH has been struggling to come up with a
cohesive brand that will represent the strengths of each hospital. ECRH has the burden of
creating a brand that will retain and gain customers. The customers need to remember and know
that ECRH is still the same hospital that has been servicing the community for many years and
that ECRH offers better quality care and new services and programs. ECRH’s brand needs to say
they are competitive, local and a non-profit organization unlike BMC, a for profit organization
and based out of state. The new brand will show that ECRH is invested in taking care of all
patients no matter their age, they are dedicated to keeping the community healthy with younger
physicians, innovative preventative care services, the oncology center and their emergency and
trauma 1 services. The system listens to the needs of the community they serve and then designs
programs to meet those needs.
