Introduction
The Ward Group, Inc. is a Mental Health Agency that provides the finest Outpatient
Behavioral Health Care in its class. We pride ourselves in exceptional care and support to
children, adolescents and adults with behavioral and mental health needs. Our Board of
Directors is now faced with the task of deciding how to expand our services to rural areas where
statistics have shown an increased need. The expected growth calls for the implementation of
SWOTT Analysis and by utilizing this method, we expect our providers will be able to provider
a higher quality and safer care for our members and their families, all while creating tangible
enhancements for the entire organization.
Explanation of the Organization Being
Analyzed
The organization with The Ward Group, Inc. being analyzed is their Network
Development Department. This Department oversees and outlines our Evidenced Based
Practices and ensures all requirements are met based on Contracts with the North Carolina
Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) and other Managed Care Organizations
(MCOs). We are required to maintain certain accountability measures across the board so that
the performance measures continue to function with at least 95% accuracy. We seek to offer
guidance and support where needed to increase utilization and outcomes for the agency.
