List 5 statuses that you currently have.
Label each status as either ascribed, achieved, or master. Remember that a master status is
not a status that you have mastered. It refers to a status that is so important that it

Describe how you learned that role.
The status I chose is coach. A coach has several roles. I think the number one role of a coach is a
leader. Coaches also teach and they organize. Coaches lead by example because they have
influence. I learned the role of coaching by on the job training. It was never my intentions on being
a coach. It kind of feel in my lap because there were no one available at the time, so I volunteered.
Its been almost thirty years and I’m still at it.
