- Animates people – promotes movement, flexibility, experimentation etc
- Generates direction – as dynamic, shifting, emerging and responsive (not
planned from the outset)
Leading in uncertain and dynamic situations
- Decision-making…....
- Postpone action until decision is ‘right’
- Defend own ideas rather than revising them
- Reduce listening to others
- Spend time ‘polishing’ or developing the decision
- Leads to blind spots
