Teacher education or teacher training refers to the policies, procedures designed to equip teachers with the knowledge, attitude, behaviors, and skills they require to perform their tasks effectively in the classroom, school, and wider community. The professionals who engage in this activity are called teacher educators. In 1999 there were roughly 30,000 trained teachers and 9,000 untrained teachers. The goal was to produce 4,400 teachers every year between 1990 and 2000. The annual output of teachers from colleges was 2,226-2,174 less than the goal. The main objective of this study was to assess classroom practices to improve pedagogy and teacher education training at chabanyama primary school of chingola district, to identify the current strategies being used in classroom practice to improve pedagogy and teachers’ education training and to determine the modifications that can be employed to eliminate the identified challenges
