structural component, secreted into environment.
• Endotoxins - Lipopolysaccharides, cell wall component released when cel
down/dies, produced by gram -ve bacteria.
May act as enterotoxin (affects gut), stimulate pyrogens release, increas
permeability, produce rashes, septic shock .
