published a fact sheet on September 30, 2015 about Gene Therapy. They discuss what gene
therapy is, how is it carried out, and the ethical considerations and concerns following thereafter.
They state that Gene Therapy is the transfer of a therapeutic or working copy of a gene into a
specific cell of the individual. (Gene Therapy, 2015) This therapy is used to replace faulty genes,
cure, and modify symptoms. This technique is still experimental and research trials are still being
tested. This source shows credible sources due to the fact it is tied to a Government Health
Education Sight and the information given was consistent throughout.
