Foreign Policy
We have learned how the United States utilizes the Economic Policy, Domestic Policy,
and Foreign Policy. I will discuss how the United States forms the Foreign Policy and the goals
and purpose of it. I will explain the role of the three branches of the US government in the
development of the Foreign Policies, and discuss how this policy affects the implementation of
isolationism or internationalism and whether or not the media has any influence. Lastly I will
talk about how someone’s political affiliation can affects their thoughts on US foreign policies.
America has to have foreign policies in place in order to protect the needs and interest of
its citizens and to ensure our way of life. For Americans to continue to prosper and enjoy our
current way of life we need an organization with the responsibility of protecting our interests.
This Department of States function it is to define and write the foreign policy. These policies
have a tendency to change when new administration takes over office. The current President lays
out a new way forward of preserving the way of life we currently have, and maintaining the
peace while influencing the the world.. A more secure and better future will come in part from
asserting U.S supremacy and giving other nations the right to determine their futures (Foerign
Policy, 2019).
The foreign policy will have an impact on all levels of government in one way or another.
Groups, organizations, and individuals all have the freedom express their opinions, or lobby
against federal law, policy, or actions (Norton, 2015). Trade, foreign travel, and local, state and
federal security laws will all be impacted by foreign policy.
